What Happens If I Create A Second Account?

Modified on Thu, 15 Aug at 2:04 PM

If you're experiencing issues with your account or facing a suspension, creating a secondary account might seem like a quick fix—but it's not a good idea. Here's why:

Why Is This Important?

1. Integrity of Our Platform: We don't allow duplicate accounts because they undermine our rating system, which ensures trust and accountability. Our platform relies on honest reviews from workers and businesses. Allowing duplicate accounts would make it impossible to trust ratings, as users could simply create new accounts to erase poor reviews.

2. System Limitations: Our system, including payment processing via Everee, is not designed for multiple accounts. Duplicate accounts are flagged as fraud, which can delay or prevent payments. While we can redirect payments from a duplicate account to a valid one, this process causes significant delays.

Consequences of Creating a Duplicate Account

If you create a duplicate account, you may face the following:

1. Suspension or deactivation of the duplicate account.

2. Delayed payments from the duplicate account.

3. Permanent ban of all accounts linked to your name.

These consequences may be enforced after a review by our team.
