How Does Check-In and Check-Out Work?

Modified on Wed, 14 Aug at 2:16 PM

  • Check-in and Check-out is a feature to help you, and the business track your hours.
  • Each check-in and check-out are GPS verified. If you are not on-site and try to check-in or check-out the business is notified that you were not on site when the check-in or check-out occurred.
  • Some businesses may require that you get a check-in code from the shift manager in order to check-in to the shift.
  • Businesses are able to adjust your time based on whether you were on-site or not.
  • You will receive a notification to check-in and you have from 15 mins before the shift to 15 mins into the shift to check-in on site. The same holds true for check-out. You will be notified to check-out and you have from 15 mins before the shift ends until 15 mins after the shift ends to check-out on site.

What if I Can’t check in or out?

If you forget to check-in or check-out on-site or it’s not working, don't worry! You will receive a notification after the shift is over to edit your check-in and out times. Additionally, most businesses will have a sign in and out sheet where they can keep track of your hours and add them for you if you are not able to. Just let your shift supervisor know if you are having issues checking in or out and they can help you. Failure to do this could slow down your payment due to the Support Team needing to verify if you worked or not with the business before we can add hours for you and help you get paid.
