What Does the Background Check Cover?

Our Background checks are done through Yardstick. It checks the following databases:

• Wanted Person

• Criminal History

• Arrest Record

• Traffic Endangerment

• Delinquency / Mischief

• Drugs

• Theft / Burglary

• Violence

• Sex Offender

• Terrorism Watch-list

• Sanctioned / Banned Persons

Why do I need to complete a background check? 

Businesses choose which workers they allow into their business. Some businesses request that everyone they work with complete a background check. If you have not done so yet, and you try to apply to work with one of these businesses, you will be prompted to complete the background check through our third party provider, Yardstick.
